Bing Nursery School

Situated on the Stanford Campus, Bing Nursery School serves 450 children ages two to five years old. Three of the school’s play yards are getting upgrades designed by Miller Company. Each of the preschool gardens will feature custom designed climbing structures, hillside slides, nets, and natural boulder climbing features set within new landscape treatments. The plans include accessibility upgrades linking classrooms to play areas. New raised bed gardens and reconfigured playhouses and fantasy decks are situated along accessible pathways linked to the school’s classrooms. The school is considered “a national treasure” and is a part of Stanford’s School of Humanities and Sciences serving as a child development research facility within the Department of Psychology with a mission of helping to improve the lives of young children and their families.
